We decided to take the kids to Boondocks, because we had never been there and it looked like fun! When done right it is inexpensive (which makes it just that much better!) and the kids had a fun time. We also found that winter is a good time to go because the outdoor race track, bumper boats etc. is closed, which means overall - it's much less crowded!

Birthday Party!
Lava Springs
On our way home from Rexburg, we found out that Bishan and Sara were visiting friend's about an hour away from where we were, so we stopped at their friend's home. We met some more great Sri Lankans and had a wonderful Sri Lankan lunch. Afterwards we stopped with them at Lava Hot Springs. There was plenty of snow everywhere, but the naturally hot water made us forget it was winter! Andrew's favorite part was finding small pebbles on the steps and throwing them into the water-how nice to be so easily amused!

Our Trip to Rexburg
Sunset on the beautiful Rexburg temple!
Andrew is coloring the wall of Auntie Sarah's dorm (washable crayons!) The coolest part is that this also used to be my dorm room! Sarah and I coincidentally live/lived in the exact same dorm, even sleep/ slept in the same bedroom, on the same side of the bedroom! It was fun to be back!

Family Snow Time
Raja decided to pull all three of us! It was so fun!
Raja built this snow wall, which was actually a couple of rows taller only minutes before this picture was taken. After building it, he sprayed the entire alphabet onto the snow blocks for Andrew. The first part of the alphabet fell off- but before it did, and when Andrew first saw it, he was exstatic! We had already come inside to warm up, but Andrew kept screaming, Mom- look outside! Look outside! See what Daddy built!?!
Ballet at the Library
Andrew sat with his friends to watch a short ballet performance at the library (eventhough he's covering his ears- it really wasn't loud!) It was all fun and games until the dancers invited the kids to the front to dance with them- Andrew absolutely refused! Oh well, if as a 3 year old he feels the need to have his manhood recognized, I guess that's just fine!
