Andrew and Natalia

Although these goggles have never actually been worn in the water, Natalia and Andrew think they are pretty cool! Andrew gets to feel all superheroish and Natalia gets to be like Andrew- everybody wins!

The fall is here, and with it comes... pumpkins! Andrew and Natalia both got a pumpkin each from their friends. They carry them around and play with them, like they have become their new favorite toys!

Pray Mantis

Andrew, Natalia and I were in the back yard, when I decided to check our pumpkin. I lifted up a leaf and jumped (just a little:) when I saw this little guy. Andrew ran over to see it too. I told it I jumped because I didn't see it at first. He said, "oh, it's camouflaged. I have to go tell my dad!" And he took of to tell his dad, leaving me wondering where he learned the word 'camouflaged' from!

Andrew's Backyard Tricks

Andrew loves practicing for the olympics on the bar of the swing set.

very proud of how 'high' and 'far' he can jump!

The Butterfly flies...

Andrew does this as part of the warm up excersices in gymnastics. Natalia has watched so many times that now she does it too! Her favorite part is yelling "pike!!!" at the end, which she does a lot when she sits with her feet in front of her like that!

Raja is such a great daddy! He teaches the kids to fix the car, gives kisses and wears the flowers that are picked for him!

New House!

Andrew and Natalia are the proud owners of a new home! This stylish new model features a mailbox (the can) as well as a table and a clock ( a block of wood that turns).  Andrew frequently asks to eat lunch or snacks in his house. The best part is that Raja made the whole thing! He got the wood from the D.I. It was an unsaleable shelf that would have been thrown away, but Raja turned it into a great new place to play for our kids! Did I marry a resourceful guy or what?!

It's corn season!

We have found that the end of the summer is a great time to be living in Idaho. There is a great food exchange between friends and neighbors. We have had several opportunities to pick fruit at friends homes, and have been given all sorts of fresh produce from neighbors gardens. We have also been able to share from our garden as well as redistribute a lot of the corn that has been given to us. It is so much fun! We are so blessed to be living here and being able to appreciate even more what this earth can provide.

The Last of the Summer Fun

Raja had so much fun with the kids, playing with this sprinkler! This will probably be the last time playing outside with water- since it's getting cooler!
