To celebrate his big day, Andrew got to bring a treat to preschool!
We began the day with Mickey Mouse pancakes

The birthday party begins! First we played musical chairs- a classic!
We also played pin the eye on the elephant, a Sri Lankan verson of pin the tail on the donkey. Sorry no pics of that!Next it was time to eat cake and ice cream!
(Andrew is wearing the spiderman backpack that Natalia gave him, he loved it and would have slept with it on that night if we would have let him!)

After five years, 
Now, back for the big day... excitement is in the air! First, the man leading the ceremony insisted that everyone sing 'Happy Birthday' to Andrew!

Trunk or treat was our main event of the night. The kids had a great time seeing their friends dressed up in their own 
Andrew and Natalia strike a pose before we leave. Natalia is a ballarina, and Andrew is wearing Uncle Aaron's batman costume that he wore when he was little!

After we did one loop around the parking lot, we noticed that we were seeing some of the same kids again and again- so Raja took Andrew around for another lap!
When all was said and done the part they liked best was staying home, passing out candy!
We actually had plans following the trunk or treat to go trick or treating in our niegborhood as well to some friend's houses, but once the kids saw that Daddy got to pass out candy- that's all they wanted to do!
