Our Little Princess

Natalia loves string hoppers! If you click to see the enlarged picture, you will see that she is wearing about as much as she is eating!
...and then there are days when she wants to be a supper hero, but still push a stroller- she's too girly to give it up!

Well Taken Care Of

I just noticed that we have a lot of pictures of Raja laying on the floor! But, that's where he goes after a hard day's work- exhaustion drives him straight to the living room floor! The kids have taken it upon themselves to be sure that Daddy is well taken care of. Here, Andrew decided he wanted Daddy to be as comfortable as possible with a blanket over him. But, there were feet sticking out, we couldn't have that! And then maybe the blanket didn't go up high enough! After all was said and done, Andrew thought Daddy must need just one more thing... his buddy!

Well, I guess sometimes Andrew and Natalia would just rather have fun!

Andrew decided (of course after covering Daddy with a blanket and providing a pillow) that
it would be very important to make a stop sign- that way if someone was going to me noisy, they would STOP and be quiet, so Daddy could sleep!

Easter Sunday

Easter !!!

Andrew's preschool had an Easter egg hunt which they allowed the younger siblings to participate in. Natalia loved it!These are the Easter eggs we dyed. (The black thing in Andrew's hat is a fan, it is powered by a solar panal attached to the top of the hat. Raja brought it home one day, and Andrew has worn it just about every day since!)
To dye the eggs we wrapped leaves and flowers around them, then tied a nylon stocking around it to keep them in place. Raja showed Natalia this other cool thing to do with the nylons!

Pinewood Derby '09

Another year, another pinewood derby. Raja built his car with a balloon attached to it that would deflate and push the car forward as it raced down the track! Pretty ingenious! The only rule this year:"just don't burn the church down!"
