Happy 1st Birthday Natalia!!!

Natalia's first doll! She loves playing with her 'baby' and laughs every time she does! The blanket was a birthday present made for her by my friend Ann- it's beautiful!

She loved tasting her first chocolate cake! It was so much fun having our friends over to celebrate Natalia's birthday! This past year has gone by so fast, I can't believe she is already one!

"Walmart picnic"

In the summer, the city parks give out free sack lunches to children. Last summer when Raja had a day off to and was home with Natalia, I would take Andrew to get a sack lunch and then we would go to Walmart. I put a blanket in the cart and called it a picnic. This way Andrew would actually eat his lunch- without constant encouragement- and I could pick up the things we needed while he was distracted and happy. It was a win-win situation. We haven't done this for several months now, but now Natalia is big enough to join it! Chicken nuggets and the picnic blanket made for a happy shopping trip for all of us!

Play time!

Andrew and Natalia love to play! There is nothing funner to play in than a box. Raja loves showing his artistic abilities- this time on Andrew's face! Andrew loved it! He kept saying he had whiskers like Daddy and was so sad when it was time to wash his face!

Christmas Day

Uncle Buddhi was here from Rexburg and Aunti Jannani was here from Seattle, (both Sri Lankan), so although they were staying with our friends, the Taylors, they were able to spend some of Christmas with us. They were a lot of fun and we were glad they came. Later that day we went to our friend's the Mcdowell's home for Christmas dinner and games. It was a great day!
