Raja has had an itch to go exploring the last week or so; when Martin Luther King Day gave us a day off, we decided to take advantage of it. We drove about 1 1/2 hours away to Idaho City, which is the former capitol of Idaho. On the way back we stop at Lucky Peak, where the kids got to watch a kite fly and play!
On the drive up, after a lot of time on winding roads, Natalia got car sick. So, Andrew donated his undershirt and I, my sweater, so she could have something clean to wear. She thought is was pretty fun to wear our clothes!
The creek that we drove along was so beautiful with the snow and ice at the edges.
This is at an overlook on the way up. It's hard to believe that 15 or 20 mins. farther south there wasn't
any snow!

Natalia is so cute! I was wondering about the shirt! Poor girl, getting carsick is no fun!
